Chew Valley Travel is a division of E Thornton and Son based in Chew Magna, North Somerset. Situated 5 miles South of Bristol and only 6 miles East of Bristol International Airport. It was acquired in July 2007 and is now managed by Claire who has over 20 years expereince in the travel industry.. Two experienced travel consultants support Claire. Jenny and Kathy have between them over 30 years travel experience.

Chew Valley Travel is a member of Advantage Travel Center, an association of over 700 offices nationwide and a further 5000 worldwide through the Worldwide Independent Network (WIN).

We are also members of ABTA, the Association of British Travel Agents, this means we are fully licensed and bonded meaning your money is safe with us, should the unthinkable happen and a tour operator go out of business.

We must meet strict criteria for customer care, travel knowledge and internal training, which comes naturally to our small team of specialist consultants. We regularly go that extra mile for our customers and if any unforeseen circumstances arise, such as re-routing or severe weather conditions, we are there to be of assistance.
